Christian Life Center

Built in 1996 as an addition to the church facility, the Fern Barker Christian Life Center (CLC) was a dream of Hope UMC members for many years. This multi-purpose facility incorporates a gymnasium with a full size basketball court, volleyball courts and locker rooms, meeting rooms, the clothing ministry store and space and equipment available for rental for banquets and events. The CLC was named after Fern Barker, a long-time member of Hope United Methodist Church and the Anthony Wayne community. As a place where the community can congregate for activities, meetings and special events, the CLC has been used widely by thousands of people for sports activities, banquets, concerts, plays, dinners, and meetings.
