Local

Clothing Closet offers gently used clothing and small household items at very low prices for people in our community. Proceeds are given to missions.

Quilts of Love makes children’s quilts that are distributed through Children’s Services to children in crisis situations.

First Serve Sunday gives the youth of Hope Church an opportunity to serve in a monthly local service project.

Interfaith Hospitality Network offers food and housing in churches to families that are temporarily homeless. Hope Church serves as hosts for one night during the week when clients are housed at Zion Lutheran in Waterville.

Anthony Food Pantry offers food assistance to residents of the Anthony Wayne area. Hope Church contributes to this ministry which is housed at Zion United Methodist Church in Whitehouse.

Friendly Center is a community ministry to inner city families in north Toledo. Members of Hope Church serve in the Friendly Center Guild, which support its ministries.

Habitat for Humanity offers “hands on” opportunities to serve in the Toledo area. Hope Church has been involved in several builds and also supports these projects financially. One group from Hope was also involved in a Habitat build in Ethiopia.

St. Paul Community Center is an inner city ministry to the poor. Members of Hope Church have served meals, held coat drives, and given financial support.
