Our youth ministry exists to help Jr. High and Sr. High students discover and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Youth Small Groups
Small group ministry is being initiated at Hope for Youth! We will be starting 4 groups:

- Middle School/Jr. High Guys – Matt Zwyer, Leader
- Middle School/Jr. High Gals – Kathy Winters, Leader
- High School Guys – Tom Hoover, Leader
- High School Gals – Kelly Spieth, Co-Leader & Kelly Pieh, Co-Leader

These smaller groups will be focused on getting to know the Bible, what God is looking for in a follower of His and getting to know one another better. As the dates to begin groups become firmed up, they will be announced in the bulletin and the web site. Make sure to keep checking it out or call any of the leaders above for more information or to let them know you are interested in participating.

Confirmation
Mandatory meeting with confirmation students and parents
NEXT SUNDAY (9/21) at 10:15 in the youth room

8th grade youth (or older) have the opportunity to explore what it means to make a commitment to Christ in this annual program. At the end of the confirmation process, these youth will be able to make the decision whether to make a public announcement of their faith on Confirmation Sunday. The confirmation process will include twice a month meetings through the fall with Pastor Tom, a winter overnight retreat in January and a 13 week mentoring process through the spring that is one on one with a current member of the congregation. This is an exciting time in a person’s life, be sure to consider participating if you are an 8th grader this year!

5th through 7th Grade Sunday School
5th through 7th graders have the opportunity each Sunday following Children’s moments to go to a class setting during the 11 o’clock service with Tim Brown. Mr. Brown will lead the class through Bible study and discussion as they transition from the Children’s Church program to confirmation and beyond.
