Youth Small Groups
Small group ministry will start this Fall! We will have 4 groups:
- Middle School Grades 5, 6 – Kevin Herman & Bobbi Vaughan, Leaders
- Jr. High Grades 7, 8 – Kathy Winters & Matt Zwyer, Leaders
- High School Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 – Josh Funk, Leader
These smaller groups will be focused on getting to know the Bible, what God is looking for in a follower of His and getting to know one another better. As the dates to begin groups and become firmed up, they will be announced in the bulletin and the web site. Make sure to keep checking it out or call any of the leaders above for more information or to let them know you are interested in participating.
Confirmation
8th grade youth (or older) have the opportunity to explore what it means to make a commitment to Christ in this annual program. At the end of the confirmation process, these youth will be able to make the decision whether to make a public announcement of their faith on Confirmation Sunday. The confirmation process will include a fall day teambuilding getaway with Pastor Tom, Ann and Josh, a winter overnight retreat in January, and a 13 week mentoring process through the spring that is one on one with a current member of the congregation. This is an exciting time in a person’s life, be sure to consider participating if you are an 8th grader this year!
6th through 8th Grade Sunday School
6th through 8th graders have the opportunity each Sunday following Children’s moments to go to a class setting during the 11 o’clock service with Tim Brown. Mr. Brown will lead the class through Bible study and discussion as they transition from the Children’s Church program to confirmation and beyond.
